teaching notes

On the left below are links to various smaller teaching documents. The larger Bible studies are on the right. These are the notes distributed in the church and the Free Grace Bible Institute as learning aids to the Pastor's teaching. As such they supplement the face-to-face teaching but they are not designed to stand alone apart from it. Most of the documents below have a corresponding audio (click the link under the audio above. The smaller studies are found under "Audio non-series sermons"; the larger match the titles listed in the right column). Some are simply charts that are used in helping students to visualize the teaching.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

If you have never believed in the Lord Jesus Christ then go to the page "How can I know I have eternal life?"

Before you begin any study make sure you have applied the method God has given for the believer to maintain fellowship and be in the spiritual position to learn and apply Bible Doctrine. Spiritual rebound is the term used for the principle found in 1 John 1:9:

1 John 1:9 (NASB) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

To confess is to simply, in private prayer to your heavenly Father, name your sins: mental attitude sins, sins of the tongue, and behavioral sins. Once we have simply named and cited these sins to the Father we are immediately forgiven, we are immediately back in fellowship with the indwelling Holy Spirit, and are filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18).

LARGER STUDIES

The notes for the classes are all being revised and will be returned to this page as soon as possible! If you desire the notes for any of our studies for your pwn personal use as a student of the Word of God you request them by email.

The series "The Great Truths of Free Grace" answers four basic but absolutely essential questions:

How can I have eternal life? The start of the spiritual life.
Can I know for sure I have eternal life? If this is true, how do I know I possess eternal life and can I ever lose it? Is it conditional or unconditional?
After I have eternal life, now what? The spiritual life of the believer in time.
After I am with God in the eternal state what can I expect? What the Bible teaches on rewards and the believer's inheritance.
